On Thursday, October 20, the students of Lighthouse Christian Academy enjoyed an Honor Roll trip to Americus, GA. They visited Habitat For Humanity’s Global Village and Discovery Center. It highlights the humanitarian work of Habitat around the globe.
The students “visited” various countries as they walked through the life-size outdoor displays. The viewed the homes that other cultures live in, from the poorest shanty to the more modern, but still humble, homes. As they passed through each display their Habitat “passport” was stamped. They all had a great time.
Help share the word about the great education and learning experiences offered by Lighthouse Christian Academy.
